So im looking for burning lasers for a reasonable price and I stumbled on aliexpress.com. their "10W" lasers go for like $18 and that seems to good to be true so just wondered it they are legit lasers.

they are ok i guess but if u want a quality laser u shouldnt buy from sites like that, better buy someting cheap if u want to test the color and beam or whatever, good lasers are worth the price and for like 100$ if u want spend u can get some good lasers.

10W laser - $18. Perfectly legit. If you add 2 zeros to the price. Maybe change the first digit to a 7. And expect it to be a lab setup.
Check this. Laserglow Technologies and you need a quote for the >12watt machine.

Otherwise, no $18 won't buy you that. Chinese seller say this to extract money from unknowing buyers who are PayPal friendly and will buy anything that reads, "High Power."

On that note, if an add has words like, "high power, super, mega, ---watt, ultra, military, bright", most will be as low as or lower in quality than the garbage that seller leaves on the streets of eBay.
