This is a thread to warn about the aixiz module I orderd 10 from their site. The springs in the order was smaller than previous and
while this doesn't present a problem untill you want to open the back once you open the back the spring will not work.

Also I wouldn't use these springs on any open can build :'( I think the consences was that the spring should match the unopened
lens. Just a heads up on the issue. Anybody know the store owner maybe drop a dime. I tried to e-mail him on ship time 2x
and no answer back. :-? :-? :-?

Anyone have a link to some springs site those are hard to find. :-?

I had the same problem.  More info here:  http://www.laserpointerforums.com/forums/YaBB.pl?num=1238556390/0#9

This is a pic showing the new, unacceptable, Aixiz springs that will destroy an open can diode

Warske;

Everybody needs to throw away those springs anyway.

The spring rubbing generate brass particles, which can end up on the lens.

Use Teflon tape to tighten up the lens assemblies.

There is another problem shown in your picture:

The DX module does NOT have deep enough threads.

They will not work with any hi-power lenses that need to be close to the laser diodes.

I found some usable springs in a mixed box of springs at home depot if you don't want to go the online route. The least tense springs are best just make sure you are 100% correct about the size.
