Yes they focus. The focus ring will come with your Aixiz module.

maybe the double/triple posting was the funny part.
I use teflon tape rather than the spring- you have to fiddle with it to get it where you want it. AND be SURE that absolutely NO tape gets on any other part. Burnt telfon is extemely hard to remove. The custom made focus adapters are quite nice to have and avoids burnt fingetips too.
In most cases I screw the lens(make sure you dont have it backwords, wide slots to the front -narrow or none to the back) into the front first then into the module. But sure to check that none of the tape has come off the threads AND if you EVER see anything looking like dirt etc on your lens coming from your laser check the teflon before using for ANY length of time. If you cannot get the focus you desire then the lens is eitherr too far into the module or the front part.
