55mW for sky pointing

I was wondering if this 55mW DL i am gettign will suffice for sky pointing?

Also i was wondering if there is a chart or something that shows how far the beam goes before it diffuses enough to not be visible?

Im about 12 miles form Limbugh Field in San Diego and Cornado Naval base, so i dont want men in a black helicoper comign to take me away because im trying to show my friends Libra or something.

The 55mW, should be CLEARLY visible at night, and about the military base, I dont think they will come see whats going on, if its like 12 milles away, just dont point it towards them

i just bought a 10mW from a chinatown night market. And to say the least, i was pretty impressed! if used at night the 55mW should be more than enough.

Even a 5 mw green will work if its dark.

Yah a 5 works, but whats the fun in that? lol

really i am thinking about a laserglow 5mW to replace my ebaser though. Lyra-C5 maybe
