That some really nice work there Rich. More great builds coming from your shop or play ground ( ok, same thing.) heee. Those are going to make some really sharp builds. :gj:

Hi BM,,
Thank you now i need lots of diodes Thank you again buddy..There something about the look and feel of CU..

@ RB,
I'm glad you like them pal they are different from regular AL but i still like AL also both shine up well

Rich:)

Continuing to look good buddy, keep up the good work!

Hi,BT,

Thank you very much for looking deeply appreciated ,Working with CU and AL has it's moments ..

Rich:)

Yep, working with copper can be very trying, it can be a real gummy, sticky b!tch; it looks like you did real well with these modules though, they're downright pretty. ;)

Hi,
Yes CU is very grabby, and sometimes a pia. I think these modules will be fine with some of the more powerful diodes we have now. Much better sinking that AL, AL is much more suited for lower power and single mode diodes. If you run 2-cells in some vapes you can get a really great build from them.

Rich:)

Rich, they are very nice looking, but with the extra work to make them look that way, I wonder if they will make a good surface contact with the heat sink. This would be a problem especially with the higher power diodes you mentioned. That is why I've always used DTR's copper modules which are smooth as well as perfectly round.

Hi Paul;
They will work fine conduction is best with CU all around, when the 12mm module is set in the set screw will score the 12mm module to the sink. I will also be trying to mill in a driver shelf soon to sink the driver. As for the X Drive at 1.8A no sinking is needed and for the SXD Drivers they stay cool to 2.4A. Anything above 2.4A heat sink the driver with a piece of CU .

Those are looking great! I wanted to do some more with the 510 form factor, but those adapters are hard to come by.

Hi Alph,
They are very tricky to make in CU ,Al not to bad but they all take a long time to make being they are custom hand made 1 by 1, And not CNC machined by the hundreds.

Rich:)

Hi D,
No i am not and it's a totally different thread than DTR's 510's..

Rich:)
