I am wanting to buy a 445nm blue laser but i can't find one online with the power that i want. I am wanting one around 200mw so the beam will be visible while not being as dangerous as the 1w blue lasers that i see all over the internet. I was wondering if anyone knew someone that could build me one around 200mw? I already have the Endeavor 150mw green laser from Novalasers, now i would like to have a blue.

Well over 5mW can cause damage to your retinas before you have a chance to blink. For that power range though, you will most likely have to do a homebuild or go for a different wavelength for now.

ya but a 1w can blind you from a refraction off a window or something, i would love for someone to build me one to buy

If you like the 445 lasers you don't have to run them hot. Just run it at 200ma. You should be able tobachieve <200mw at that current. Though it wont be as dangerous as running a 1w.... < 200 mw is still something to be taken seriously. You can also put an acrylic lens in to help reduce the power. Alternatively you can just buy a 50-100 mw green or 200mw red and they will have visible beams. 50mw of green is insanely bright :). You can see it in a dimly lit room. I would always reccomend laser safety glasses! Eyesight is nothing you want to risk!

Yeah 555nm is the brightest to you eye but 532 is the closest we can get so a green pen from optotronics would be a good bet for you, its cheap and great quality

I see that alot. just copypasta on the desc from some other laser they sell. I imagine it's 405nm instead of 445.

You might wanna make sure that it is what it says it is before you buy.
