Either they updated the description or the OP was smoking something cause that's a flashlight...

EDIT: or is he saying someone should buy it and make it into a laser?

I'm thinking about it...but it's kinda pricey.. :undecided:

Yeah, sorry I was just pointing out it would make a weird / cool host. Not to mention my wife would love the color. :)

It is a little on the expensive side without knowing how well it could be converted into a laser.

Forget about those laser headlights for cars, you can have a laser headlamp on your bike. Complete with an "alarm". I'm still not clear which type of alarm they mean. Is it an anti theft device like a car alarm, or is it for those morning when you are taking a nap while riding your bike. LOL :D

Just seems like a add thing to put in something that has a bike mount. :)

If anyone does get one to build with I'd love a photo of the finished product.

You are looking at it without seeing it...
A reflector on the speaker element internally with a laser (or better 2) bouncing off it.
Instant music driven laser show.
Maybe even enough room to put in a small rotating mirror or 2 to spirograph with the music too. Maybe use the left signal for speed control on one and right signal for speed on the second...then the speaker as an acoustic modulator for the beam(s).
Seems like a good project.
Too bad I can't do it...although my 2 year old is starting to learn not to go into "Daddy's" shop he is still a bit away from being completely trusted.

I'm still considering building it. It is one of those items that is so laughingly dumb that you have to try it. Pretty much in the same boat as those laser kits with the usb port that Moh had for a while. :crackup:
