Yeah, powerful portable lasers definitely rock. Taking it outside when it's dark to admire the beam is quite relaxing to me. ;D

But, I can imagine a labby also has its advantages. Steady output, 100% duty cycle, no need to charge/change batteries. Good for optics experiments and stuff.

Yeah, well maybe I will get an RPL during the summer holidays, and then after christmas get a labby .

Sounds like an excellent plan to me Diachi!

And of course get the largest RPL your wallet will allow :)  I LOVE my 260mW but I still always wonder what the 350 - 400mW ones would be capable of.  If you have to take out a large loan or sell everything you own then so be it  ;D

Ha ha, I'm 14, the only thing I will be seeling is my Xbox and its games if I'm gonna sell anyhing, the guitars stay !! lol Cant take out a loan either, goin busking soon though so I'll see what that brings in .

Currently my walled allows £141 so about $280, I mighr be buying a 300mW RPL style off of Psuedo at somepoint in a few months though.
