As for laser goggle, I don't think anyone would be allowed in the laser room - it's the vacuum and high voltage being the prime requirements - it would more likely being a combinations of several X-ray FELs as FEL tend to be even more efficient in term of wall plug to optical power.

I wouldn't want to be near the reflection of X-ray laser emission, it's even more lethal than laser of UV Genocide wavelength (270 - 210 nm). X-ray wavelength from FEL can be from 10nm soft X-rays to 0.015nm hard X-rays.
