Im sorry - you still got what i mean though :p

But wouldnt ordering now just make me higher on there "list" of orders?
Im not 100% sure how shipping really works, so thats why im asking.

Yes, it would put you in queue earlier. The problem is when companies are in a rush, and have a very high workload, and you're a lot more likely to have issues with the order, or experience long delays in communications.

I would recommend you send Max an email, asking him to order the laser you want, and wait to hear back, rather than just placing an order.

I just ordered an 18650 from LarryDFW but it doesn't look like its shipping anytime soon :/

is it worth adding the battery and risk customs though?

also thanks :)

I wouldn't ever order battery with the laser, just asking for trouble IMO, especially since right now they might be on the lookout more for lithium batteries than they are for lasers.

The batteries from Larry are top notch... send him a message he usually gets them out pretty fast.

I've heard they are..
I sent him a pm a few days ago asking about it, but looking at his profile it seems he hasnt been by the computer in a while. Ill shoot him one more and then thats it.

Well, even if he takes a while, you'll still have the batteries from him long before the lasers.

I guess thats a good thing so i dont mess around with other power supplies waiting for it :p

Anyways, thanks for your help. I ordered a 10440 from LH

Your avatar is making me nauseous yet happy. And on a side note; what did you end up ordering and from where?

InfinitusEquitas, in the link you posted for 18650 batteries they are unprotected, is it a good idea to get the protected ones instead or does it not really matter for lasers as much as other electronics

I think both protected and unprotected batteries have their place. For flashlights I prefer protected batteries. For lasers, unprotected.

It really doesn't matter though, just so long as you have a decent battery and keep an eye on it, making sure not to run it down too much. Unprotected ones also tend to be thinner and slightly shorter, so they fit where a protected one might not.

any idea how snug the battery fit is on Lazerer 532nm 100mW? i mean for the price difference it doesn't really matter. i had my eye on those batteries from a different source and they were nearly the same price for 1 battery so glad i checked this page out.....+1

With that one, you should be fine using protected or unprotected, there is plenty of room in it.

Have fun with it :)

i will, cant wait to do a review. havent seen any on here about that one so will be fun. really mad its not here tonight because it is SUPER foggy out right now and ive been messing around with some beam shots of my 5mW pen. have to be SUPER careful though since i live like 2 miles from a major airport. this laser wont be able to be used unless its late at night or im away from the airport so dont worry guys, im not one of those people who will shine it at a plane, although i do get a great kick out of shining it down on the street when drunks are walking home from the bar (not shining it at them or reflective surfaces, just the sidewalk/street) ive had a crack addict chasing it up and down the sidewalk at 3am. never laughed so hard
