I shot these yesterday afternoon, I'm having to talk loudly and you still cant hear me in the video because of the noise from the phase converter. I ran out of memory and put in a new card, which is why there are two videos. This just shows the tube starting up and running, and turning the current up and down a few times.

Some of you might notice that the 'water' light on the PSU is not on... I assure you it has good flow. I think the bulb is burnt out or something :p

I also snapped a couple more pics:

In these next pics I tried to get a good shot of the lines... it didn't work because the prism is only like 2mm big (out of a 6x sled) so it broke up the lines but they weren't in nice 'beams'. Also, this was basically taken in full sunlight.

You actually just gave me a really good idea... Run the drain into the washer rather than all the way to the sink. Come to think of it I could probably use the washer's water supply to run the thing. Good on ya, mike!!

When I was shopping for a big laser the whole water cooling thing was never a big deal. Now that I actually have it I realize how much of a pain in the ass it is to water cool something which dissipates around 7kW of heat. Can't used a closed loop system without a really sophisticated chiller. Radiators and fans just won't cut it here.
