Hi All,

I'm thinking of selling my 200mw argon. I bought it new from Lamda photometrics and used it for laser show hire, way back when!
Its mint , 670hrs and a large proportion of that running it was on standby. I haven't checked the power but it looks like it's still doing very well. 110vac with transformer.

Some photos attached, wasn't dark at the time but gives an idea.
Anyone like to estimate what it's worth?

I have a set of GSI G120d scanners too, I'll dig those out of the loft and post some photos of these too.

Some photo's with your username and date will help your sale.

It's a nice looking unit. Too far out of my budget though.

i've been wanting a ml argon. what kind of money are we talking?

Hi Cheech,

I'm not sure of the going rate for this type of laser, but I'll keep if its only worth a few hundred £.
I've been looking an the Bay and the price varies considerably:thinking:

However, it would be nice for it in the hands of an enthusiast where it would be used and enjoyed more than I can at the moment.

In eBay, you have to look at the auctions that have actually sold.

These (as all argon lasers) cost many thousands of dollars new.

Salvagers and people who find one at a garage sale or in their Dad's garage look up the "new" price, get all excited, and list them for lots of money

Those auctions do not sell

I follow the used gas laser market very closely, this would probably sell for less than $500 (plus shipping)

Peace,
dave

**EDIT**
I just noticed that you are in the UK. You may get a bit more for it there because they are more rare there than here in the US. Of course the market is also smaller there :(
