Cant be healthy to lase your skin with UV-laser-light though. The pulses are very short and have a lot of power. A few kW...but I guess without a lens, its not that bad for the skin at all.

Now that's a neat build! You just convinced me to start gathering the components to build such a beast... It looks truly cool! 
If I add to that my LOC project, my HeNe laser, and my RGV project, I think i'll be busy for quite a while! Now if I could just find the time...

Actually it wont take that long to make a clean TEA laser. Took me the better half of a weekend or so.
You can make a dye-laser and get every color out of this, or you can burn some CDs ;-) TEA is fun and 100% DIY!

I could post a pic...its a huge monster. But I wont hurry you know. The portable Co2 laser is up next. Already started this project as well...
