as soon as i hit town i picked up my big box from australia. i had to install a plug and jump some pins on the remote interlock - and there was light! timelablasers packed everything well, even sent the key separate. the beam from this laser is so perfect. not a bad color either, such a rich almost sea blue! i'll upload some pics when it gets dark.
sorry for the crappy phone pixs, gotta get a real camera...

i have a question on the care and feeding of this laser - does it like being turned on and off? or should i just leave it on for 30 minutes?

Very nice unit! Argon lasers a beautiful machines. :D

And generally it is a bad idea to turn them on and off frequently. There are lots of components, including the tube, which undergo quite a bit thermal stress every time the laser is powered up (and shut down). If you plan to use it again within a few hours, just turn down the power to idle and leave it running (if at all possible).
