Hey guys,
Thought I would post this one up. I stumbled upon this on ebay and really didn't think I was going to win. Turns out I did win (for my maximum bid exactly...).

Here's a link!! I'll get some pictures up once I get it running (hopefully)

Full Color White Light Laser 350mw, Power Driver, Case | eBay

It should be right at home with it's bigger whitelight brother:

and of course the big sister, Argon :crackup:

Ha! So you're the one! I thought about going higher but the guy never responded to my emails and I was worried that it may be up to air. Somewhere I have a pinout for the db-15, might have posted it to PL. It should be similar, if not exactly the same as the Reliant 1000M. You'll likely need to work a little magic on the db-15 to get it to start, especially if it was from a Mobo rail. Best of luck with it, let me know if it works so I'll know when to kick myself for not going another $2.50 higher!

haha well hopefully it all works out. Did you get any info from the seller at all? Supposedly the tube was re-gassed 100 hours ago, so hopefully it's not up-to-air. If it is, I'll do my best to get a refund.

Go check out my post over on PL and give me any info you can... I dont know anything about this unit! All I know is that it looks like one of those reliant / laserphysics units.

BTW $202 was my max bid... lol

Well I have the laser at home. It seems to be in one piece.

Dave, do you have any pinout info for this laser? I believe it's a model 300WC, rated for 300mW of nice white light

I need to find out what needs to be connected to the interface port to get it to fire up.

Also, I need to zap the tube and make sure there's still gas in it, but I'm a little nervious to do so since the whole head and PSU is one unit. I dont wanna fry anything before I get a chance to turn it on.

Post it over at PL. Someone there may recognize it

Wow... I am impressed! How does a white light laser work? Is there a good link where I can read up on this?

They are ion lasers, same general construction as argon except they have a mix of both argon and krypton. The argon provides the blue and green lines while the krypton provides red and yellow. Since all the wavelengths lase at the same time from the same cavity, you have a single beam which appears white to the eye :)

Ah, I get it! This makes sense. Thanks a lot for the explanation.
