Got bored so I decided to play around with my argon. I have a few ML uniphase HRs sitting around (30cm ROC) so I did some intracavity work. Mind you, you have to do this in current mode, not light mode, as it will mess with the feedback sensor. I also note that doing this thru the OC causes huge losses, and is not the same as doing it with a brewster based tube. but it still has a neat effect!

Nice , I tried this with a OC ML mirror to bring out more lines at lower currents .

Oooooh! Nice! I had wanted to try this when I had an argon but I never did end up sourcing a good ML HR.

Now try and use a prism/grating to do a single line extended cavity (on the ML)!

I have a few of them I might sell one if the price is good ;)

I thought about trying A single line cavity, but the radius of curvature is too short.

That's a neat laser mate. Might have to look into adding an argon into my collection
