HeNe PSU question

I decided to bring out my HeNe lasers a few days ago. The PSU for the 543 was making all kinds of noise and the laser output was not steady. I think the PSU is toast. The output is 2150v @ 6.5mA. The PSU for my red one is 2300v @ 6.0mA. Do you think it would be safe to use the red PSU with the green one until I get another PSU for the green?

Safe for the tube? Yes.
Safe for the power supply? Probably, but I'd keep the run times under a half hour at first.

what he said
the extra VDC iirc is less important/dangerous/harmful than the current..which is lower- Sam may have one FS-- I cant part with any of mine as I have less PSs than gassers.
