Wow what a beauty! I love those all in one self contained ion units, and an Ar/Kr to boot! I can't help but wonder how much it set you back, surely four figures!

That's a damn fine laser! I've been looking for a small air cooled Ar/Kr that runs single phase on 110V mains. Do such unicorns even exist?

The laser set me back two Lexel 95 heads and a ton of karma.
there are 110v whitelights, but they are about as rare as the proverbial unicorn. There are some reported 60X heads that are mixed gas, but they dont live long and have pretty weak power levels, supposedly 30 milliwatts. I know HB Laserkomponenten in Germany does repumping to whitelight and I talked to them about redoing my 60X heads . It would have been $1,500 each not including optics. I think a set for whitelight was $700 for the HR & OC, but I could be wrong. It was at least ten years ago when I talked to them.
This is a very sweet laser. Its 220v single phase and draws 20 amps at full current. It does 12 lines at startup but settles down to about 7 lines with prominent red and yellow after about an hour at full power. Great color balance at 3/4ths power. I have it set up going in to a, PCAOM based projector with 30K CT-6800 scanners. Its an Excalibur projector from LSDI inc.

I can't believe how small the head is not much bigger than my Argon. How big is PSU? You have a keeper their. You have to make some more videos Please

The PSU and tube is all in that package. They are switchers so they dont need the heavy X-former that the older linear psu's have. Its suprisingly light, almost *cheap* light feeling.
But its a Reliant and those were made for the road!

The only problem is switchers are a nightmare if at all to fix. I still think it's worth every penny. When do you think you will have another video?

Ok that is one of the 2 top lasers ever, IMO.

Air cooled and mixed gas - can't do better.

I love the reliant. Awesome laser. And a 300 to boot.

I think they make a lower power (like a 50) also.

=p~

Man if I could only have one laser, this would be the one. An argon/krypton is the grail for me. Great Score!!

Wanna sell it? Haha JK I would love to get my hands on a whitelight though.
