BUT Whats the trick w/ URL pics like from our albums..IIRC you have to dele a part of the URL.. was it the http//??

Had an insanely busy day today, getting ready for college so had to get a bunch of stuff done, I will try to get those pics tommorow! Also, yes, knowing how to post pics to the forum would be nice, as I see things have changed since I was last on.

EDIT 2: well, I waited for night to come so I could get some beamshots, otherwise it would be too bright for the beam to be visible, and now theres a thunderstorm and I dont want to risk any sort of electrical issues right now, so were gonna have to wait a bit more sadly. The beamshots are coming, I promise.

That's more complicated than it has to be.

Easier to use Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet and [/img] tags to embed them. Allows you to share the images anywhere instead of just LPF and Imgur has some straight forward editing tools built in.

Yeah, I couldn't be more pleased with Imgur since I went back to using them after Photobucket crashed and burned on me. I sure hope they don't have problems anytime soon. I don't want to switch again for awhile.

They are massively more popular than Photobucket was. They provide much of the image hosting for Reddit, not to mention they have their own community. Should be OK I think!

Thanks diachi --I remembered the 'trick' you need to dele one of the two http// s
-as if you do not it is there twice and you will get the 'wrong extension' reply..
at least that is how it is when moving a pics at LPF from your albums.
