Ok Mr. then measure the output with a laser power meter and PROVE this diode is outputting the 350mW the seller claims and that you didn't get RIPPED off. ;) If you can prove that, then I'll shut up :-X

Could someone who bought the 22x diodes take macro pictures of the Diode leads? If the leads are full length un-cut just like the Senkat Diodes, at lease we know it’s a brand new Diode NOT harvested from a DVD burner.[/quote]

Well that doesn't sound right if it's supposed to be a 22x, a 20x open can is capable of outputting 250mW with an acrylic lens and 300mW with a Meredith glass lens. That's just using a heatsink, not AL. ;)
I would expect a 22x to output about 270 - 320mW with an acrylic lens using a heatsink. Maybe 320 - 400mW with a glass lens. :p

Ya I know, he sets the driver like that for a reason, but it can be pushed further as you say, but anyway, who knows how it will test, its new so we can only hope things are getting a little better! so be positive until the results come in. :cool:

hes adding an nice alum heatsink installed over the housing which will allow me to push mine a lot further than what they are currently driven at.

We will see...

oh ya , i do have to mention the dot from this red is so bright and creates a wash of light on a white wall, and with my goggles on I was able to view
what appeared to be a perfectly defined round dot, and focused down real nice like a pin point, real nice optics :D
