Ultrafire C5 18650 SS

I have done a search and found no discussion about using this flashlight as a host. It looks like is would make a nice looking laser.

Has anyone tried this, if not, how would one go about getting a proper heatsink for it?

I've never come across someone using this flashlight as a laser host on the forums.
People on the forums make heaksinks and sell them in kits. You may be able to ask someone to make one for you...

If you are looking for a laser kit check out the buy/sell/trade. Jayrob has a stainless kit similar shape to this flashlight.

ARGlaser, thanks for the reply. I have seen jayrob's stuff and there are some great looking kits. This particular host just caught my eye so I thought I'd ask around as it were.

I have one of these hosts. I thought it would make a nice laser. What I have found is the brass ring you see near the front seems to me to be pressed into the head or has been cranked in there so hard I cannot remove the led assembly. Kind of disappointed in it and have not messed with it any further since it arrived in Feb.
