I had an adapter machined to make this pipe clamp (Which fits the Herc Perfectly) fit a normal photo tripod mount. With my bogen pistol-grip head it is a GREAT tool for the Herc!

Here's my tripod i brought from www.maplin.co.uk £4.99 and it fits my Aries perfectly. ;)

The plastic clamp comes with it, as this tripod was designed for digital cameras and the plastic clamp was for holding camera phones. I was quite pleasantly suprised when my Aries fitted in snugly. The tripod extends to about 20cm on each leg and fully adjustable in all the position an Aries wants to get in. I brought two in the end one for the Aries and the other for my digital camera to take pics of laser shots :cool:

I'll disassemble it and post the specs and pics. - the adapter is brass and was turned on a lathe..drilled and tapped on one end and a die was used to thread the male end.

No just 2 stickers i have quite a few spare as they rub off in time ;)

I would imagine that a microphone holder would work well for this purpose as well. Since I do not own a herc or aries I have no way of testing this out. just figured I would throw that out there.

I was just going to chime in that a microphone holder work the best for the big lasers like these :)

They are cheap too.
