Im thinking someone should do three reds like the predator, or even 3 445's for some serious power

Three of the new 635 diodes would be awesome :) That would look neat, of course three beams of anything out the same handheld is pretty awesome.

This is a great build you have going on!
Can't wait to see the end result, also i'll be following the driver details as well.

Looks great so far. I see more or these coming my way if this works out.

That would be cool! Hopefully this laser comes out with out any unexpected troubles... Also if you had more people wanting to have you customize that host you'd probably have to find a better way to separate the head from the handle because I know that gave you some trouble...

EDIT: Updated the thread... When I get the driver from JohnyZ I will add power readings from my LaserBee II and beamshots :D

Wow...

Not sure if you already mentioned it, but watch out in your wiring and configuration, for the fact that the green is case positive...

Looking really good!

I'm going to have the Red Diode 300mW and the Green Module 200mW... but how strong do you guys think I should make the Nichia 1W Blue diode, because I don't want it to kill my battery or drain out the other color lasers...

I'd say run the 445 at 1.3-1.5 amps :)

This thread should be stickied!

Holy sh?t!

Incredible! Best RGB combination on the market, badass host, everything!
How much did all of this set you back, like $500 ? Totally worth it!

And check out the driver Johnny rendered! Atmel Mega in a handheld laser driver. Nowai...

Now, to find some cheap triple-headed knock-off host for the rest of us, in parts of the world where money does not grow on trees.

The new 635 red diodes are case neutral so all lasers can be case positive if you want them too.

Another benefit of the new 635s!

The extreme attention to detail in this build is amazing! I can't wait to see it working. Nicely done!

This is one of the best things to happen to LPF :D

Stop making us wait! Build it NAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

This beast probably set him back 700 dollars

EDIT: Have you considered putting colour coded GITD O-rings around each seperate head? That would be epic!

Interesting idea! The driver is currently being redone in the green part to a proper linear...

A linear is being used for the green because of the low Vf of IR diodes, yes?
