I am trying to make a small build using a bluray diode(may use a red if it will work better). This build will only have space for one resistor and one button cell.

I am planning to use a 1025 button cell which does 3.7V(i think?) along with the appropriate resistor to power a laser. I worry about the bluray, since without a driver I run the risk of spikes. Maybe a red would fair better.

Let me know what you think,
Isaac

Nevermind, it looks like they can only output like 1mA. I will have to search some more to find a small battery.

10280 is your best bet.. that wont get you beyond 200-250mA current draw i suppose!

check lighthound.com or fasttech.com for more options

So that would be 10mm x 28mm correct? I fear it would be too long....I may need to scrap this, but i was planning to turn an Aixiz module into a tiny working laser. I fear the power choices won't be compatible.
