I just got these from dx http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.3160
To make it output less than the 350ma should I just be able to add a resistor in series with the positive on the LD?
I'm using the last Stonetek batch VL's I think.

I think its parallel, because you want to drop the current. Look for a thread called amc7135 blues, theres some pretty helpful stuff there

Great thx, that was a good help, I put a 20ohm 1\2w resistor in parallel with the diode, and it works great off a single cr123, Just the same as the DDL drive I have with 6 AAA's atm.
