If you check the "Buy/Sell/Trade board, you will find others. Mine is a bit less expensive for the same quality and power simply because it is a "surplus" personal unit. It was NOT originally built for sale.

If you want a more custom look and a better deal, hang out a day or two. I just finished some "matched sets" (burning blu-ray AND burning red in matching hosts). I'm working on the carrying/storage case right now. I need to get some closed cell foam. The "waffle" foam I have here isn't working the way I want it to. I have both morning AND evening classes going right now. I don't have the time to play that I want/need right now.

hey how did u pop the lens out of the dorcy mine is being really stuborn and i dont want to break it? :-?

i also am having trouble removing the dorcy lens :-?

I take and jam the top onto a rod and it punches the lens right out.

I am going to be attempting this build in about 2 weeks.  I will let you guys know what the out come is.  

FYI, I will use a 5 ohm resistor to begin with.

I am not sure if anyone has asked yet, do you know what kind of battery life is to be expected if it is ran at about 225mA?

Glad this was of use to you. It's kind of outdated and not many use it anymore with the advent of the flex drive.

Yeah, I know, I just thought that it would be an easy first build. and it was

indeed it is. Almost as easy as my Kryton laser barrels.
