im wanting to start a new project i cant think of one i would like it to be sumwhat chalanging but not ot hard and relitivly cheap and suggestions?

Ok first, use spell check
And second, give more details, what laser would like to make? An IR, red, blu ray? Do you want it to be portable? Or do you want it to be a labby? And the most important thing, how much are you willing to spend?

I think that's a little too easy. Maybe it would be more challenging if you make a RGB laser pointer using three infrared diodes and a bunch of laser crystals. That shouldn't be too hard of a project :

If you are looking for an easy project, build a burning red laser by modding a flashlight or something.

Do a portable laser that combines the three to make a white beam. I know it's already been done, but would probably still be fun to do.
