This thing is actually a really good weapon if you unfocus the laser and shine it in someones face they can't see anything but purple/red light unless they look to the side. Not that I would know from trying it out on myself or anything.

Is this the first star trek phaser you have made?
I remember some one selling one on craigslist, a few months ago. In th SF bay area. Was That you?

Hey I've made many. This is the coolest and only 2009 model I have built to date. I gave a few away to friends in the bay area. I wouldn't be surprised if one of them sold theirs on craigslist. Wasn't me though.
