Just finished drilling my heatsinks (Don't judge, My first time)
Thinking of making the circle one into a 445nm 1-1.2W and the square one perhaps a 405nm (Dunno what power yet)
Whatcha think? The machining was a little shotty cause I don't have a drill press available (yet)

Looks good to me.

I have heard of people using a hand drill (non power) to make their heatsinks.
As long as you are happy, enjoy what you have built.

An old style hand drill you say?
That would probably be usable for the aluminum, That copper was a major pain!

Youhappen to know what the pro's are of using the hand drills? I suppose maybe more control of your hole maybe?

Haha, no there are no pros to an old style hand drill.
That was just what they had and made do.

Your holes you drilled really look pretty good. :)

Yes, copper can be a real PITA to machine. heh.
