Wow. Those wre SO nice! I cant wait to get mine so I can stick it in my pants!

Also cant wait to stick a 9mm diode in there and crank up the current!

Hats off to you buddy!

One suggestion would be to make the head more thermally conductive. You could achieve this by tossing out the set screw and allowing for pressfitting Aixiz modules.

Hmmm, I have resized the images but they still appear way too big on my browser, how do they look like to you guys?

Also, it's about 50% more mass than Phobos. So yeah. It's cool :p

Nice machining. The host looks super big on the super big pictures. :p
The pictures aren't resize. I still have to scroll on my 1920x1200 screen.

That's weird, I resized them all to 1280x720 and ticked "Replace original" on all pictures... why aren't they resiting? Damn.

Give me a minute...

EDIT,

I've put guddamn hyperlinks only, since Photobucket refuses to resize the images for some reason. Viewing the direct link from my account shows the normal image. Linking it to the forum shows the super huge image. It's uploaded from my Android phone. Weird part is, when I upload super huge images from my PC, it will automatically resize them, i.e. not let me keep the original resolution. Now it INSISTS on keeping original resolution no matter what. I'm a programmer but I just don't get computers sometimes :p

It really makes me no difference. Why don't you send it to Daguin then I can get the next one. I am in no hurry.

LOL, that's why I love this forum.

OK, RBC gets the first one, and Dave, yours gets made after I clear this Blords bulk order. Blame him :p

Sounds good?

I found a piece of art in my mailbox when I stopped by the office today. :) This thing is extremely beautiful. Thank you very much.

LOL! Thanks for the comment!

Can you please do a review of it when you catch the time? I'd very much like to collect as much feedback as possible, to see what needs to be changed, added, removed = improved.

Last host my dad made for this summer. Can't wait to make one myself. Heatsinks I've made are already getting shipped Monday, but making a host in whole should be really awesome. Pretty much every machining technique needed for this.

Just need to clear up a few sinks first...

I would love to do a review but I don't think I am the best suited for it. Reason is this will be my first build from scratch plus I probably won't get to the project for some time. Daguin, are you going to build soon where you could provide feedback? Are you here in the states? If so I could go ahead and send this to you so you can start your build and maybe provide the needed feedback.
