huh? glowdye they are not asking if your a fanatic, and even though they may sound like it, they also mean no offence. the one thing they do want though, and is totally reasonable for 100$+, is a few pictures to verify that your product would work and you have the skill to make it.

glowdye, all I'm asking is for you to sell me on it. (honestly I didn't have much fun with my free air TEA except to say that I built a laser from scratch...I just like red better than UV ::shrugs::) But if you're wanting to sell something, then sell me on it. ABC, Always Be Closing. Be a salesman.
::shrugs again:: just my $0.02

With your TEA air laser you can be the first kid on the block with a real UV laser. Imagine the envy your friends will have when they see a real working TEA laser knowing that the one they tried building did not work. You will tell them that the government is using lightning power nitrogen lasers to down UFO's You will be hailed as a genius. We are offering them at less than cost to the first ten people who sign up. hurry while supplies last!

Great! Now we're talking.

Now as SenKat said

What have you for us today?

Sure. If you CAN make a pulsed nitrogen laser that, like you say, works good, looks good, warranty, etc, its easily worth $150. A plug-and-go, all-enclosed, reasonably powerful UV TEA? No brainer.

Do I think you can do it? To be brutally honest - nope. Is it impossible? Nope. Show us what you got first though. We can argue about the concept for years and get no where. Show us a product to test and then we're talking

I've got to agree with you on this Carter, and no disrespect to glowdye, but at this moment I view you as a powerseller from Ebay. On that note, I'm sure you'll do right by all my members here... Just us all proud with what you preach ;)

Well... being the first to 'bite'... I'll still take the dip and buy the unit as you say... I'd like a fully enclosed unit that can be a simple plug and go. Pretty sure I could make one quite easily, but given all the GBs + work, I honestly don't have the time for it... If you can make one and offer it at a reasonable price, it looks good, and performs well, and comes with the warranty, I'm still definitely in. :)

Being an open air laser, could you make it possible to easily transform it to a nitrogen laser if we'd like to?

Thanx;

Moving this to the experiments and mods section since you aren't actually selling anything at this point - all you are doing is bumping other legitimate sales threads down the list.

I saw a (Ytube?)video of a atm n2 laser pumping a yelow dye laser. I's impressed!

There's an old Scientific American magazine issue the shows you how to build a homemade N2 laser. Air works even! Just put a mirror on one end of cavity. Use a pulse shaper choke.
Ionize the cavity with a traveling wave. Like jacobs ladder but super quick.
The plasma stim. state exstinks in nanosecs. You can use a water capacitor, saw that in Pop. Scien. mag. 20y ago.
Dielectric of pure water is 89!!!!!! Can't do much better! Thats why thunder is so F@#$%ng hot.
Wow, gotoo get my flyback array finished. ;D
