it started out as a jrob maglight build... but got upgraded hardcore...
wanted to add a red dot laser sight to my maglight and add a handle... and a charger...
so i began to modify (my work is nowhere near a clean as his)
first i drilled a hole opposite the power button to allow me to remove the button and run wires.
i ran all sorts of wires for the red laser aswell as the charger and had to carve channels in the flashlight plastic guts to run all the wires through. once i got them all situated i soldered the red diode in and mounted it with thermal glue. i had to drill a hole in the butt of the light to add a female charging port and modified a battery charger to handle the male plug.
when its all said and done it turned out to be exactly what i wanted... a plug and play laser gun with a pressure pad laser sight.
