If you have the ability to machine anything you want then make several of these in my pic below and use them to knife edge or combine with Dicros. They are used stacked side by side. This one is produced by Edison. I bought a four pack of these to do exactly what you want to do. There are other similar products out there but this one allows adjustment in every direction needed. They work by placing each module side by side and slightly offsetting each (like stairs) for knife edging, or you can stack side by side for dicros, or a combination of the two.

Thanks,

I have had a machine shop make parts for me in the past, I saved the photo but don't understand how it is used yet. I want to make a multiple laser diode beam expander with this project too, so it doesn't matter to me if I have a thin beam, what I want to do is have a bright spotlight at an extreme distance of several miles with low divergence, so maybe putting a plate of laser diodes together will work anyway. If the beam is 6-12 inches wide anyway, it won't matter will it?
