whatever you do PLEASE never call it a 'time tunnel'.

A PC PS fan makes a quick one. Free FS mirrors are inside thrown away flat bed scanners. any motor actually. An old (battery)cassette player can be made into a two mirror tunnel EFX.

spiro means at least two spinning mirrors creating patterns.(laser 'bounces' off both) some use 3 or 4 motors/mirrors
tunnel just one --making a 'tunnel'(circle)
Liq. Sky is a flat(ish) line
fog/smoke makes These WAY better.

if done with little or no air movement the efxs are better( shut off fans ac etc)

a cassette player can be use with two mirrors and two lasers for side by side tunnels.

more than one laser can be aimed at one motor/mirror

hope this helps

some tips
keep everything real close
dont worry to much about the mirrors being too flat, its VERY hard to glue one and have it end up flat.
bounce off your 'flatest' and smallest first'

this way you have a better chance of keeping on the mirrors.

being able to reverse direction and controll your motor speeds is the only way you will be infinite patterns- 3 motors better- 4 motors even better-more than one color laser makes a big difference too. you can put together a EZ build using Leggos and hot glue.

To get the best 'whispy' efx you want zero air movement. Your fog/smoke source needs to be going directly in front of the mirrors.
When I use a PC fan for Liq. Sky or Tunnel EFX I even remove the blades from the fans.

enjoy your lazors!!!

I have tried to glue them flat-nearly impossible!!

if your 'wobble' is too much your second and subsiquent mirrors will be too small to fit the laser beam pattern on.

The first mirror/motor must be almost flat. If not, you may be able to only do a 2 mirror/motor spiro. Same applies if there is too much distance between the mirrors.

I always use a larger mirror for #3 and #4.

you'll see-- if it goes off the edges of your mirrors you FAIL.
