I've only tried sushi once. It was horrible.

The raw fish tasted exactly as i had expected it to, like raw fish!
and it had some nasty sticky white rice, wrapped in seaweed.

I tried to get it down but i had to spit it out.

Try the tuna sushi (Maguro). It doesnt taste like fish at all, and has no seaweed (nori) rap. I dont like that either. The tuna is close to really rare roast beef in taste. If it taste like fish, then its not fresh, and you should avoid that restaurant. Then try the shrimp, and salmon.

You could probably draw pictures on the sushi with this 10w IR.

I'm not so sure about that - its a wavelength that would go through mammalian soft tissue for sure, but perhaps its different for fish. I dont know the medical use for that device, but i think i'd object if someone were to put a 10 watt laser somewhere on my skin ;)

That 10W of IR laser coherent radiation, must be grossly defocused if it isn't intended to damage skin.

And pulsed to a CW of not very much.
Considering what else they have on that site, it could also be homoeopatic IR.

You know, the more it is diluted the stronger it gets. :D

Must be some nonscientific contraption then, but a pretty dangerous one - better for the creme brulee than for the body i'd reckon. Its the same wavelegth they use for the infrared part of a pulse-oximeter (the kind you clip on a finger). I assume it permeates quite deeply in the tissue and the heat is easily removed by the bloodstream.

Perhaps it could be used to cook meat (like a microwave oven?), but it won't do much of a job in searing anything.

I think you got the essence of that page there. :D
There is an amazing amount of health BS out there, and this one is not the worst.
