Hey everyone!
I'm back again with another mod to my precious kryton, but this time I have given it a metal shutter/focus knob! THis is good because focusing the Krytons can be a bit annoying, as your fingers often obstruct the beam, 'tis not the case anymore!

How it works:

Twist the whole thing to adjust the focus, or the end to open/close the shutter.

How I did it:

I got the head off a DX 200mW baton style green laser, I then discarded the rear focus half and kept the aperture shutter half, next, I glued in a glass Aixiz lens to where the beam would exit (it's obvious when you see it). The lens holds the module on the head! Presto!

Additionaly, I found the battery cap from the DX laser fits on the Kryton too!

I like the key switch in the back. I read about it in the review of the Kryton Groove. Is there a tutorial on swapping (installing) that instead of the clicky?

But, imho the chunk on the front takes away from the clean lines of the original host. (To each his own)

I know, the looks are changed somewhat.
It's pretty self explanatory, but I can write up a tutorial on my website.
