Question Improvement of a Skylasers PL532nm-700mW

Hello,
I asked about a change / improvement of a laser.
I recently bought a green laser PL532 - 700 (PL 532nm 100mW-700mW) to Tman. I am fully satisfied with my purchase, and I thank Tman for this transaction without any problem.
This laser has a remote plug in end (jack), and I wondered if it would be possible to use this connection for example to modulate the laser power (via a potentiometer, for example) or even to make a relay system for a pulsed laser (such as flashing drive) and by varying the frequency of the power failure.
I hope my explanation is clear? Do you think this is possible, therefore, by acting on the supply current?

Unfortunately, that is before the regulator, so you won't be able to adjust current via adjusting input power - it will just spike up the output voltage to compensate. You shouldn't be able to adjust the input current at all.

Regarding high-frequency modulation, that may be possible. But I am sure there are smoothing caps in the driver, so it may be difficult to modulate it at a high frequency. However, if you run it at a high-enough frequency and adjust the duty cycle, my guess is that you could make it "pseudo-modulated" and actually decrease the power

(The driver won't have power for such a short time that the capacitor can supply power in that time, thereby giving the laser energy.)

OK
So if I understand correctly, if I vary the supply voltage (0-3.7V), laser power will not change?
And to make a pseudo pulsed laser, I thought of a few hertz frequency as a strobe for example by hashing the supply voltage (0V-3.7V-0V-3.7V .....). Is it dangerous for the life of the diode or crystal?

If you vary it anywhere between 3.3V (my guess) and 4.2V, you shouldn't get any change. Anything other than that and your laser diode will drop in power so quickly it'll just seem like it powered off :P

A few hertz frequency will be fine for the laser.
