How do I figure out what test load I need?

I have a sheet that shows how many diodes I need to chain together to make a test load for a red or BR diode, but how do I figure out what I need for other diodes? Is there a formula to use?

Thanks

it is just a general rule for those diodes. but the basic theory is the dioes represent the voltage drop of said diode. so if you know what voltage that a diode needs then you calculate the amount of diodes you need to simulate that.

Oops, looks like you posted while I was writing my post... I ended up doing what you recommended, Thanks!
