I recently bought rechargeables, and they are like 2 MM longer than non rechargeables. When I put them in my CNI, I have to use a little more force than usual to twist the tailcap on (cant even use the keycap with rechargeables). I tried twisted the tailcap with the rechargeables in and it was brighter when it wasnt completely tight. What do you recommend that I do? Anyone else have this problem?

I have only used non-rechargeables during testing - otherwise, I ALWAYS use the NiMh rechargeables that I THINK you bought - the 1000mah Blue and Green Cheapo's form Wal-mart, and never had any issues.
