I want to point a laser at a building or area that will display my business offers as an advertisement of sorts. How can I do this ?

Hello and welcome to the forum!:wave:

Wanna display like a graphic or some words?
You'd need a laser projector, and some software as well.
Don't think you're going to getting away with less than 1000$ !

ALso, check out the photonlexicon forum, those guys know their projectors.

mmmm, I bought one of those cheap laser pointers for a couple of pounds that had attachments on the end of it that displayed a love heart and other graphics. I was looking more at this sort of thing rather than high priced equipments.

Getting a custom diffraction grating made would probably cost just as much as a projector....

Make a stencil of the picture you want to show, and then put a lens behind it and shine a laser through the lens so it spreads out and goes through your stencil. It won't be very bright, but that's the nature of such things.
