I've been working on a laser engraver and I am running into issues with the programming. It is controlled by a raspberry pi with python code from here. The scripts works and will engrave the samples given in the link, but when I make my own G-code with inkscape, the "fast-movement no-laser" is incredibly slow. So slow you can barely see it moving. Once it hits a place it wants to engrave, the speed is just fine. My setup isn't from dvd-drives, its custom made. I tried adjusting line 104 in "Gcode_executer.py" to increase the no-laser speed, but it seems to have no effect.
Any help is GREATLY appreciated!
