Crappy host, awesome internals

This host on this 200mW greenie is super cheep feeling, and really really long and bulky. I was wondering what it takes to swap hosts?

I have a guidesman flashlight that I would love to use if possible. If that can't be done, my old Lazerer focus able black host is still laying around.

Yea. That host is somewhat of a puker. You can do what your talking about word of caution though you could be taking a chance of harming the module in some way by disecting the unit for example: breaking glued parts free and such.

I would suggest buying another module and get a custom heatsink made for your col**man host. More than likley the mod. will have a spring which would make for an easy project to do what the heck it would be fun also. Good luck.

P.S. you could polish that unit might make it look better;)

Does it look like to you that the lens looks like it is made to pop out? I took off the little piece of foam that surrounds the battery spring and i'm so tempted to to try and do something.

This host is not only super big..but its super lightweight and makes me nervous just having it in my pocket.

i just discovered that the powerbutton can be unscrewed !!......perhapes this host is designed to be taken apart to swap hosts or add stuff?

Is there anything I can do to it to make it less poor lol..

or is it possible to use my old host from my lazerer ?
