WOW -- I'm trying to figure how a diffraction grating can do that. It must be circular lines. I must now think....... Then would a fresnal lens do the same ?

^That's what I'm saying.. seems kind of like this guy made two accounts and now he's arguing with himself. Very odd behavior.
What?! This is my first account. I went to school at Butler and live in Indy where I grew up. The name asatru was already taken, so I put in my gmail account address. If I have the same number after my name it's because it was the number for God or at least it was in my Catholic religion class. Which is taught by almost every Catholic School or it could be the number on his/her/its mailbox I don't know. I didn't even know there was someone with 777 after their name. But i would be suspicious to with a guy/girl/it like that.

It's okay I have bad timing, it's the story of my life. I don't blame you heck, if I was in your position I would think the same thing. Now can someone please answer my question in the optics thread I need to know since I just ordered some diodes and modules. I don't want to waste them. But I do want a "cheap" blu ray laser that has an output of one watt that's why I replied to this thread first.

Wow this thread just keeps getting better! First, I'm taught how to construct a lightsaber. I've always wanted to do that! And now to put the cherry on top of the cake, this guy is seriously arguing with himself. If that's not serious lulz, then I don't know what is. I had a really fucked up day today and I swear to Christ this made it a little better.

A real flesh-cutting lightsaber? Yeah, OK. If that were possible, wouldn't one have been made in 1977 or even a few years later, after Star Wars came out? .... No, we apparently had to wait until a brilliant 140 IQ supergenius joined a laser pointer forum to brag about his project, that we're all too stupid to figure out w/out his help.... Nevermind his signature says "I'm a liar and a fraud" - what does that tell you?
How many times must the original poster insult everyone here, make claims of being smarter than all of us, and even badger us, before we all just tell him to go F himself???
