One consideration, please ..... air (or dry gas) flows tends slowly to accumulate static charges, also if in little quantities ..... if you want to use a gas soldering iron for a very ESD component, take a piece of wire and ground the metal part of it ..... usually the static charge is not high enough for damage the components, anyway, but is always better to NOT discover this on your high-cost diodes, right ? ;)
