Anyone interested in a Dilda host?

I saw all of the variations of the dilda laser on o-like, and I was thinking of emailing her to ask her to try to get them with no driver or diode. Is anyone interested in this?

The laser will be a little like a mini kryton barrel, as it has a press fitting for the diode, so it will transfer heat well.

I'm making this thread before emailing her because, if there is interest in this thread, she might be more inclined to help out.

Here is an example of a dilda laser:

I might be interested for $10 or so... face it, it is little more than a piece of fairly cheap metal. Complete led flashlights of similar complexity are sold at lower prices - so it should be possible to get it low cost.

I would be surprised if the wholesale price of those dilda bodies is more than $2. Of course there is margin to be made, but not that much ;)

Bad news guys. She won't sell them/can't get them

Sorry :(

But if we can find out who made them, a GB maybe?
