Just a thought. Why did you buy them if you didn't have plans?
ther were no bids on it at 5$ so i figured id find a use for them

I have done some LPM testing on these and
most don't spec 5mW until about 4.8V.
There are some floating around that will do
35mW apiece, though. You never know. :undecided:
On second thought, it might be a good idea
to run them on 3V3. The center ones will
get HOT.

I have around a hundred of these I like putting them in small single led flashlights that use button cells. they make good little pointers. My cats chase them all of time! You could theoretically put them on one of those little rc helos and make a ufo. There is a thread on lpf that some one hooked one of these up to a wall wart and has been runing it for like two years or some thing like that. there are a million ways to use these and there are none! just depends on how creative you can be
