Aixiz Module Dust Caps

Hey all - if you happen to have those little metal ring things on the end of your lenses for your Aixiz Modules....Deal Extreme carries these little replacement "clicky boots" for flashlights....They are supposed to be replacement rubbers for safe clicking of the tail cap I have some Glow in the dark ones (LOL !!!) , and they slide right onto the metal ring, sealing it off, and keeping goop, etc out of the lense. There is a center "nubbin" if you will, that fits inside the Metal ring, perfectly - giving a great fit, so it won;t wiggle loose. Would also make a nice indicator if it comes on in your pocket if it starts to melt, and smell horrible The SKU is 5714..sorry, no pics at present, but it works pretty cool ! Oaky...re-reading this, it sounds like a friggin p o r n ad for c o n d o m s or something ! HAHAHAHAHA !

Genius, i've got a pack of these that fot on none of my flashlights so they're just sitting there, i've got a couple of dx modules coming with the focusing ring for when i decide to take the plunge and make my own laser (will be a blu ray so i have the red green blue) UV on a gitd dust cover would be a pretty sweet sight, and make for a great glow in your pocket if it's accidently switched on.

Hey Greg, I finally got around to trying this and wanted to say thanks for sharing your discovery! It works great! Fits the Meredith module as well even though it is just a 'hair' bigger in diameter (just cut the center 'nubbin' all the way off)...
