I just added some tiny vent holes in the front piece where the focus ring sticks out.

the fan fits fine as is. there is a link to a nice how-to by meatball

I have a few Stingers left to part with and will be getting more.


I am making some 445 labbies( and a LOC, a 6X BR and a 200mWgreenie too) with them and the fans should allow longer run times. if you make a flat botton HS the whole thing becomes the HS. Meatball put a nice key lock in the back of his .....Ehgemus put a phr in one w/ a switch on top and a plug for a wallwart and sold it for 70$ iirc.

A very tiny R/G/BR/B could be made using the stingers==thats my plan and they do not have that home-made look
