It is no name junk and could very well explode. When it comes to batteries and chargers, only use brand names, or products that have been proven to be safe. I suggest you research CPF for batteries and chargers that are safe.
DANGIT !!! By editing your post, now nobody knows what type of batts you were asking about !!! And as matter of point, I STILL buy soem el cheapo's liths, and have had no issues with explosions yet.....and do NOT say that I am lucky....THAT is funny ! If you know me, LUCK does NOT enter into the equation !
The UltraFires are ok as far as being safe but are not the most consistent...meaning some perform better than others. But they are much, much better than that other auction you were looking at..
SenKat...you have been lucky...lol...j/k. But to each his own. I will not take chances, and will help to deter others from taking chances as well especially those looking to use li-ion. Most of the stories regarding explosions are on account of using crap, some are because of mishandling or improper charging, and the rest are rare.
