This is a revised post to show you folks a rebuild of the 462nm Sinner host.

Thank you buddy gave it a new life I'm sure ill be better off with the rebuild.I feel a lot better that the driver id going to stay put now. SXD with a long ramp up is the way to go and it gives the diode a break from the current smacking it.

Im working on a 470nm with a SXD/4.5A or 5.0A /G2 lens. Just waiting for the arctic to set up. Will be posting the build hopefully soon its taking a while to cure longer than usual.

Reposting here, but also what host are you using for the 470nm?

Also does the v6 not have soft start?

As for the 470nm host i modified a purple Mag light @ D cell type. it has a huge heatsink to carry the heat out. I pull the flashlight apart and mod the switch and tailcap. Thers an insert for the batteries so i can use 2- 26650 cells. I'm actually building it now waiting fot the epoxy to set on the driver.Use the SXD V7 driver with ramp up for that diode. SS and ramp up are two different features. SS is like a millisecond delay and SXD can be set between 3 and 14 milliseconds the longer the better. i like the SXD V7 but i use the V6 xdrives towith SS.
